Kammarkollegiet is an expert authority with approximately 340 employees in Stockholm, Karlstad, and Härnösand. They have government assignments and function as asset managers, insurance companies, procurement centers, and legal advisors for the public administration. Their assignments include insurance for government operations, students, and civil servants, management of the General Inheritance Fund, and environmental assessments.

Do you want to work with claims adjustment in a developing and digitalized environment?

Kammarkollegiet in Karlstad is now looking for an analytical and service-oriented consultant for an assignment in claims adjustment. The assignment will start on May 1, 2025, and is expected to last until February 2026, with the possibility of a 3-month extension. Please note the short application period, which runs until March 26.

Your tasks:

You will work with claims adjustment, primarily within the personal injury unit's student and travel insurance. The tasks involve analyzing various types of documentation, making decisions on compensation according to insurance terms and practices, and maintaining ongoing contact with insured individuals, healthcare providers, and authorities. Since some of the insured are foreign citizens, processing and communication will also take place in English.

You will work in a team for student and travel damages, where collaboration and development are central elements.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an interest in claims adjustment and insurance issues.
  • Is engaged and wants to develop together with colleagues.
  • Has a relevant higher education degree.
  • Has experience analyzing information, drawing conclusions, and making independent decisions.
  • Has current experience with investigative processing tasks.
  • Has high digital maturity and can handle mission-critical systems.
  • Can express yourself clearly and well-formulated in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.

Desirable experiences:

  • Experience working in at least one mission-critical system.
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 and digital work methods.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams or equivalent video conferencing tools.

Personal qualities:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of routines and work processes.
  • Analytical ability and independent decision-making.
  • A team player who takes responsibility for the whole.
  • Service-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused.
  • Meticulous, self-driven, and structured.
